Treatment finished

Just finished five days of treatment at the clinic. All went well. I found it easier than the first time in regards to holding the infusion. Bar the first day were I only kept it for one hour, I was fine until I stood up, the rest of the week I lasted 7, 3, 5 and 4 hours. I felt very tired by mid week, but by yesterday evening and this morning I've felt much more energetic. Now to see what the ongoing result will be. I'll keep you updated with future posts.

Now for some fun with a nine day, 4000km motorcycle tour through Victoria starting tomorrow morning. Can't wait!

Repeat treatment at the end of this month

I have now booked in for a repeat HPI treatment for the week of 27 to 31 of March. Very much looking forward to seeing how that goes. I've been fairly ok of late with stools in between medium and medium-good. I noted that when I lost my prescription of Salofalk and ran out for a few days just recently the urgency started to return until I got a replacement prescription. A bit less energetic of late, especially tired first thing in the morning.

A further complication has arised with my blood test returning that I might suffer from celiac disease. So I will undergo an endoscopy and small bowel biopsy to test for this on April 18.
